Coexistence of metaphysical systems: the (not quite) Reality in the public domain: can we win through reflection?

Abstract

In the article Laruelle's project of non-philosophy is reviewed in the critical approach in light of third modification of the philosophical solution in response to objections from the principle of unilateral duality. The symmetrical non-philosophical problem of the empirical coexistence of metaphysical systems with their transcendental and conceptual impossibility is highlighted. Metaphysics as a part of the universe tends to view itself as a total expression of the universe, but as a matter of fact we know that there is more than one metaphysics. Metaphysics that doesn't express other metaphysical systems as parts of the totality of the universe it represents turns out to be incomplete. The common place for problems of philosophy and non-philosophy allows us to ask the transcendental question of possibility of access to the Reality, and also determines the limits of non-philosophical approach. A non-philosophy and phylosophy are considered equal through the reflective operation of reflection. This operation is understood as the possibility of oneself to go beyond one's own limitations — the self-application of the operation of reflection modifies its energy so that it now longer could be a reflection. The study of its functional possibilities leads us to the premise that the reflective operation of reflection cannot be the exclusive to any of the metaphysics, which limits the total expression of the universe and the claim of metaphysics to be essential and unique. Demonstration of an alternative non-philosophical strategy for the de-hierarchization of philosophy by the methods of unilateral duality allows us to doubt the privileged access of non-philosophy to the Reality, which makes is possible to provide evidence of an a priori necessity that non-philosophy really occurs as One. Variety of the transcendental, expansion of intelligence and formulating common fields of metaphysics offers a pragmatic refocus from the representation of the Reality to its joint transformation. The author proposes a solution to the problem of transcendental and conceptual incompossibility of metaphysical systems and non-philosophy in the developed onto-ecological project based on concept of scaling, the fractals and the neo-rationalistic project of the philosophy of artificial intelligence of Reza Negarestani.
